Association members are sad to note the closure of Widnes Conservative Club, which is now for sale via the Association of Conservative Clubs. Many of us have good memories of events and people we met there. Unfortunately it was not able to maintain member numbers or meet the requirements of a younger clientele so has gone the way of many other similar organisations in the town.
